Pause


Just stand right there. Don't be in such a hurry to grow up. These years are passing much too quickly. Slow down. You have the rest of your lives to be adults. Let me take in as much of this chaos as I possibly can.

    Good lord, is Maysoon already walking?! It amazes me how quickly children adapt to the world after they are born.

    She stands on her own but is too afraid to take any steps. She'll actually stand for a couple of minutes without support.

    It's just happening much too quickly.
