Just in case you misunderstood my last post, just wanted to clarify that A. I was being sarcastic and B. if I am going above and beyond, it's in the wrong departments.
Poor guy never had a chance. I think I might be banned from Home Depot's dead plant return policy. I'm pretty sure my picture is behind the counter.

I have returned more plants to Home Depot than you can imagine. It's really a miracle I've raised my child to age 5, seeing as I can't take care of a plant for the life of me.
